Yay! I can't wait to hit the beach with you again! Just finished reading Lacan's first lecture on "The Psychoanalyst's Knowledge," in fact, and was totally wowed by his allusive return to the littoral zone between truth and knowledge -- to say nothing of his explicit celebration of limitation, weakness, and powerlessness there. Lo! the love of truth as the truth of love!

I just finished reading the first lecture this afternoon. But I have to be honest and say that I can't wait for us go a bit further and dig into the "(a)mur" formalization. The original title "Je parle aux murs" has an interesting homophony with this sort of a porte-manteau word: (a)mur". So, yeah, let's swim!
