It made getting to grips with what was at stake for Joyce in Lacan’s analysis, and the implications for his theory so illuminating.
From reading, to speaking, to writing and finally to drawing as logical operations and the thematic impulse behind Lacan’s seminar, the materials were brought to life through demonstration and first class discussion!
I think that would be ideal, but also that it is not necessary. If you started with our series on seminar 20 and proceeded from there, you would be OK. You could even start with our series on La Troisième and be fine.

The lectures will eventually find their way to YouTube -- but not the far more illuminating 20+ hours of discussion.
Not that I'm aware of. There are a couple of unofficial English translations out there, though!
