Drawing the Real
Our spring series on THE SINTHOME (Seminar XXIII) concluded last week. 6+ hours of recorded lectures, 20+ hours of intense Q&A, and soooooo many drawings along the way — all of which, no joke, emerged from this:
Huge thanks to everyone who made the series soar: Aabir, Abdulla, Alexandra, Andrés Felipe, Asaf, Camden, Chloe, Chris, Cibele, Cody, Deborah, Dennis, Derin, Diana, Douglas, Douglas, Dylan, Eric, Félix, Fernanda, Gabriel, Gabriella, George, Grace, Hanafi, Hannah, Henrik, Holly, Ira, Jack, Jinkang, the Jonathans, Jordan Kelci, Kolya, Lora, Lorimer, Lwam, Maria, the Michaels, Mikael, Nicole, Penny, Pushpajith, Rachel, Ramy, Rishab, the Ryans, Sandy, Santiago, Sean, Shari, Shawn, Shyra, Soraya, Suhrida, Svetlana, Tej, Terence, Teresa, and Tiffi.
Next up for Lectures on Lacan is Seminar XXIV, the title of which I’m still not sure how to translate — though I rather like how Dan Collins’ puts it: Love Is the Failure of the Unbewoops.
Stay tuned for more updates soon — including the launch of a new podcast series! 🤘🏼

Hey Sam, thanks for hosting such an excellent discussion group, and for your hard work!
It made getting to grips with what was at stake for Joyce in Lacan’s analysis, and the implications for his theory so illuminating.
From reading, to speaking, to writing and finally to drawing as logical operations and the thematic impulse behind Lacan’s seminar, the materials were brought to life through demonstration and first class discussion!
Be well, I’ll see you on the next one!
Chris
Will this particular series one day make its way to YouTube like others have done? Thanks so much - Lukas
