Our free podcast series on The Other Side of Psychoanalysis (Seminar XVII) is now complete! Which means the complete video recording on which this series was based is freely and fully available at our archive:
Next up, at least for the podcast, is a 10-part series on Lacan’s eighteenth seminar, cleverly titled On a Discourse That Might Not Be a Semblance. This one was an absolute blast to record — almost as fun as the fortnightly discussions that fueled each recording.
But enough about the past. It’s back to Seminar XIX . . . Or Worse . . . for me. Next up, chapters 7-8, yin, yang, and otherwise. Head to our Substack page to learn more, checkout the schedule, and join our next get together!
Hello
I am Bijan, a senior student in family counseling
It is interesting to inform you that the number of people interested in Lacan in Iran is increasing day by day.
And more books are being translated and published here to understand Lacan's psychoanalysis work.
In particular, the book Freud as a Philosopher is one of the works of Richard Boothby, published by Mr. Sohail Somi by the Phoenix Publishing House.
And also the book of Hitchcock's Lacan, which is dedicated to the psychoanalytic analysis of Hitchcock's works with a Lacanian attitude.
Also, a number of letters related to Lacan's lectures and seminars have been translated.
With best regards
Bijan Amiri
