Upcoming Workshop: The Psychoanalyst in the Institution
Hosted by the Association for Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI)
This Saturday, I’ll be co-leading a workshop on the prospect (and perhaps impossibility) of analytic discourse in non-clinical settings. Think universities, government agencies, accreditation bodies, and other quintessentially modern institutions.
The workshop is open to all and promises to be a wild one. Clinical folks will also receive 3 CPD points for attending, I’m told. Huge thanks to our friends at the Association for Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI) for organizing this event!
Below is a flyer with more details — and below it, an excerpt from our new series on Seminar XX that I shared with our pals at APPI last week, in hopes of laying some (but not all) of my cards on the table before we get together on Saturday.
Hope to see you there!
