This is where we'll begin tomorrow, with a quote that, I believe, sets the stage for the second half of Lacan’s wild and woolly seminar on The Logic of Fantasy:
Sexuality, as it is lived, as it operates, is, in this respect, something fundamentally — in all that we map out in our analytic experience — something which represents a prohibiting oneself (un “se defendre”) from following the consequences of this truth: that there is no Other (p. 92).
