With our series on Seminar XX now complete, I’ve been enjoying all the minor works Lacan produced before, during, and just after his momentous twentieth seminar. Notes, interviews, conference presentations, the list goes on — and fantastically so!
I’ve also been thinking about where we should go from here. It’s tempting to jump right into Seminar XXI, if only to work up a decent translation of Les Non-Dupes Errent. But I think our next stop, instead, should be Lacan’s 1973 interview with Jacques-Alain Miller:
