Happy Holidays . . . Or Worse!

With our miniseries on “The Psychoanalyst’s Knowledge” now complete, I’m beginning to eye Lacan’s OTHER nineteenth seminar, allusively titled . . . Or Worse (1971-1972). It looks to be a truly mind-blowing text — arguably the start of Lacan’s later teaching — and I can’t wait to read it with y'all!

Which is why I’m writing to you now (instead of grading the pile of term papers sitting on my desk). If all goes according to plan, we’ll begin a full-length lecture and discussion series on . . . Or Worse (Seminar XIX) next month, with our first live discussion occurring on January 26th.
